Child Sponsorship Program

The AWO’s Child Sponsorship Program provided schooling and food for orphaned children as well as children of low-income families living in refugee camps in Pakistan. Prior to entry into the program, many of the children were child laborers working under terrible conditions for meager wages. Children were required to provide proof of school attendance to the sponsor in order to remain in the program.
